It is not completely clear when this society was founded. From the description of the Society's medal on p.216 of Koopman, it seems likely that the founding date was 1775, even though the Society's journal covered only the years 1776 to 1792 (published 1778 - 1794).

The Society's Handelingen were published in Amsterdam, so this may have been the seat of the Society.

The authority for the 1775 date is the occurrence of that date on the Society's medal. The end date is the last date of the Handelingen.

Handelingen van het Geneeskundig Genootschap, onder de Zinspreuk Servandis Civibus
The Medische Bibliotheek Universiteit Utrecht record for this gives the volumes and years covered as Dl. 1(1776) - 16(1792).
The GVB German Union cat. record (for the Herzog-August-Bibliothek in Wolfenbüttel) gives no year and volume data, but gives the place of publication as Amsterdam.
Koopman p.215 gives the publishing information as 1778 - 1794 in 10 vols. The GVB German Union cat. record gives "Zinspreuk" as "Zinkspreuk", which is a typographical error.
